Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and YardLink LLC for using our platform.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and YardLink LLC (“YardLink,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your use of the YardLink mobile application and related services. YardLink is a two-sided platform serving Landscapers (paid subscribers) and Clients (free users). By using the App in either capacity, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility & Account Requirements

  • The App is available in the United States and is expanding to Australia and other regions
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account
  • Business owners who add team members to their account (Pro Plan) are responsible for ensuring their team members comply with these Terms
  • YardLink accounts are non-transferable

User Roles

Landscapers are business professionals who subscribe to YardLink to manage clients, scheduling, routing, invoicing, and optionally accept client payments. Landscapers are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of services they provide.

Clients are individuals who use YardLink for free to connect with a Landscaper, manage their property details, request services, and optionally pay through the app. Clients are responsible for providing accurate property information and maintaining a safe working environment.

YardLink is a platform provider and is not a party to any service agreement between a Landscaper and a Client. YardLink does not employ landscapers or guarantee the quality of services rendered.

Platform Features

YardLink provides the following features depending on user role and subscription plan:

  • Client relationship management (CRM) and contact organization
  • Job scheduling, calendar management, and recurring service setup
  • Route planning and optimization for Landscapers
  • In-app messaging between Clients and Landscapers
  • Service catalog management including standard, custom, and add-on services with flat, per-square-foot, or price-upon-request pricing
  • Custom invoice creation and delivery to clients
  • Service quote requests, approvals, and tracking
  • One-time and recurring service management
  • Before/after job photo uploads
  • Public Landscaper directory for Client discovery
  • Client reviews and Landscaper ratings
  • Business analytics, revenue reporting, and downloadable reports (Pro Plan)
  • White-label branding — custom logo and colors (Pro Plan)
  • QuickBooks integration for financial record syncing (when enabled)
  • Multi-user team management with permission controls (Pro Plan, up to 5 users)

Subscriptions & Billing

Landscaper subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchases (iOS) or the applicable app store platform. By subscribing, you also agree to Apple’s Terms of Service and billing policies.

⚠ Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no partial refunds are issued.
ℹ Free Trials: Where offered, free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand through the App Store.

Client Payments via Stripe (Pro Plan)

  • Client-to-Landscaper payments are an optional feature available on the Pro Plan, powered by Stripe Connect (Express)
  • A 2% platform service fee is automatically deducted from each successful transaction and retained by YardLink
  • Landscapers must complete Stripe onboarding (including identity verification) before accepting payments
  • Clients must actively opt in to recurring (autopay) arrangements — recurring charges cannot be set up without explicit client consent
  • Payment disputes, chargebacks, and failed transactions between Clients and Landscapers are subject to Stripe’s dispute resolution process. YardLink is not liable for such disputes
  • Landscaper payouts are processed by Stripe according to Stripe’s standard payout schedule

Refund Policy

  • YardLink subscription fees are non-refundable. No refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period
  • If you cancel, you retain access to your plan features until the end of the current billing cycle
  • Refund requests for subscriptions processed through the App Store must be submitted to Apple directly
  • Client service payments made to Landscapers are subject to the individual Landscaper’s refund policy. YardLink does not control and is not responsible for service refunds

Service Quotes, Invoices & Pricing

  • Landscapers may offer services at a flat rate, per square foot, hourly, or “price upon request” — negotiated individually per client
  • Clients can submit quote requests for price-upon-request services. Quotes are not binding until accepted by both parties within the app
  • Landscapers may create and send custom invoices for unlisted or one-off tasks
  • Prices set per-client are visible only to that client and are not publicly displayed
  • YardLink is not responsible for pricing disputes between Landscapers and Clients

Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Clients may request rescheduling by selecting from available time slots on the Landscaper’s schedule
  • Rescheduling requests are subject to Landscaper availability and approval
  • Clients and Landscapers are encouraged to communicate any cancellations as early as possible
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in service termination at the Landscaper’s discretion
  • YardLink is not responsible for missed, skipped, or canceled appointments

Public Directory & Reviews

  • By creating a Landscaper account, you consent to being listed in YardLink’s public Landscaper directory, including your business name, service area, logo, services, and ratings
  • You may update your directory listing at any time through your business profile settings
  • Clients may leave reviews and star ratings on Landscaper profiles. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine service experiences
  • YardLink reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise violate these Terms
  • Landscapers may not offer incentives for positive reviews or request removal of legitimate negative reviews

QuickBooks Integration

  • Pro Plan Landscapers may connect their QuickBooks account to sync invoices, payments, and client billing data
  • By enabling this integration, you authorize YardLink to share relevant financial data with Intuit (QuickBooks)
  • You remain responsible for the accuracy of data synced to QuickBooks
  • The integration can be disconnected at any time through app settings. Disconnecting stops future syncing but does not delete data already transferred to QuickBooks
  • YardLink is not responsible for issues arising from QuickBooks data processing, errors, or service outages

Photos & Media

  • Clients may upload photos of their property during onboarding. These photos are shared with their assigned Landscaper to assist with service planning
  • Landscapers may upload before/after job photos which are stored on the platform and shared with the Client
  • You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant YardLink a limited license to store and display them within the platform to the relevant parties
  • Do not upload photos that contain other individuals without their consent, are inappropriate, or violate any laws

Team Members (Pro Plan)

  • Pro Plan Landscapers may add up to 5 team members to their account with configurable permissions
  • The account owner is fully responsible for the actions of all team members under their account
  • Team member access can be modified or revoked at any time through the User Management section
  • Team members must comply with these Terms. The account owner is liable for any violations by team members

User Conduct

  • Do not use YardLink for any fraudulent, illegal, abusive, or deceptive purpose
  • Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other users through in-app messaging or reviews
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Do not upload malicious files, spam, or content that violates any laws or third-party rights
  • Landscapers must ensure all services advertised on the platform are legal and that they hold any required licenses or insurance

Intellectual Property

  • YardLink retains all intellectual property rights to the App, its design, branding, interface, and underlying technology
  • Users retain ownership of their own data (business information, uploaded photos, notes, and content)
  • By using the App, you grant YardLink a limited, non-exclusive license to use your content solely to provide the services described in these Terms
  • Pro Plan white-label customization (logo and colors) is a display feature within YardLink — it does not transfer any IP rights to the Landscaper

YardLink’s Rights & Admin Oversight

  • YardLink administrators may access account data for the purposes of providing support, resolving disputes, investigating violations, and ensuring platform integrity
  • YardLink reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time
  • YardLink may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violations
  • YardLink may adjust subscription pricing with reasonable notice to users

Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support@yardlinkapp.com
  • Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law
  • Landscapers who cancel retain access until the end of their current billing period. Active client relationships should be communicated to clients prior to account deletion

Limitation of Liability

  • YardLink provides the App “as is” without warranties, guarantees, or representations of any kind
  • YardLink is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the App, service disputes between users, data loss, or third-party service failures (including Stripe, Apple, QuickBooks, or Firebase)
  • YardLink is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Landscapers
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, YardLink’s total liability is limited to the fees you paid to YardLink in the 3 months preceding the claim

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of YardLink after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. You agree to resolve any disputes individually through binding arbitration and waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits. For Australian users, applicable Australian consumer law protections are not excluded by these Terms.
